Self-imposed rules & regulations (again)

The self-imposed rules and restrictions are creeping back! I feel very limited creatively with the way I am making ‘Need’. It feels very ‘tight’. It’s time to loosen it up!

I realise this happens with every artwork I make. I always get caught up with what I assume my audience thinks the artwork should be and not what I think the artwork should be.

What I am going to do is try some Improv stitching and make up the shapes within the diamond facets. I wont be following a pattern, I’ll just cut and sew. I don’t know if doing this will work for this project but it can’t hurt giving it a go!
