Facet #4 finished

The fourth facet is complete. Tonight I remembered I should be using a dry iron for pressing the pieces. I can’t believe I forgot to do this! The steam has warped some of the pieces - or maybe it’s my wonky sewing 😬
Regardless, not all the pieces reach the edge of the foundation piece. Can you see all the white bits on the sides?

Triangular piece of patchwork, made from old painting rags. It rests on a green cutting mat.

Wonky cutting, wonky sewing, steam iron…but this diamond facet still looks fab. I can work with this, no worries!

Facet #3 and #4 stitched together.

I intend to hand-stitch the facets together as this is a lot easier for me when working with tricky angles. But I couldn’t resist testing these two facets out together. It’s working!!
