‘Need’ is big

I have figured out a much easier way to make the diamond shape out of the painting rags:

  • Use an old bed sheet. Fold into quarters.

  • Cut out a circle.

  • Draw on the facets. Cut them out.

  • Pin to the flannelette sheet on the wall (they kept falling off because the pieces were so big)

  • Stitch the painting rags directly onto these pieces.

I’m really excited about this and have worked too late into the night again. I did stop before I pinned all the pieces to the flannelette sheet though so that is an improvement.

This is how it looks so far:

I hope to pin the rest tomorrow. Then I can get back to painting.
