Around in circles

I have spent my precious art-making time trying to figure out how to add a ‘Categories’ drop-down menu to this blog. As you can see, I didn’t figure it out. However there must be a way!

I’d like to make it easy for visitors to select the artwork or project they are interested in and go straight to all posts relating to their selection. It sounds so simple, alas it never seems to be for me. No worries, I’ll keep trying or find another way.
