Moveable support plan made

A friend suggested that I work on the painting sideways if it was too tall for the studio. This is a good idea, but it would be difficult. I have rechecked my notes: the height of the painting is meant to be 2.5m not 3m. The life-size kangaroo is 2m and then there is a bit of space at the top and extra space at the bottom to paint the title.

I've spent some time on my local hardware website and have figured out how I am going to go about making this moveable support for my big paintings. I will ask the them to cut the timber. I will join the timber frame with nail plates. Nail the plasterboard to the frame. This doesn't need to look good, it just needs to be a flat, smooth surface to stretch my canvas on. I need to see if I can get them to make one cut in the plasterboard and if it will fit in my car or just get it delivered and cut it myself in my studio.

What seemed like an impossible task now seems very doable. I have a plan, I can relax.
