I think I need to do this the easy way: make ‘Young & Free’ slightly smaller than I wanted and just buy a standard size plywood board. I think getting a jumbo size board is logistically too difficult for now.

I got the quote back from the supplier. The price difference between the standard size board and a jumbo board cut to the size I need is substantial enough that I think it has got to be the standard size.

I’m not sure if I am comfortable compromising my vision like this. The kangaroo is meant to be life-size. I will keep it life-size, but it will just have less space around it.

I’ll give myself a day or two to think it over, then get it ordered. I want to get painting!
